Beautiful neo traditional pieces to appreciate in color and in black and grey.
Kaitlin Greenwood works at Adorned Empire in Fremantle, Western Australia. There’s nothing I love more than a good neo traditional tattoo, and Greenwood delivers the goods. There’s the usual cast of flowers and animals, but pieces like the tarot card, the tombstone, and the wolf’s foot really reinforce the dark side of this style of tattooing – a theme which I find to be lacking in neo traditional tattoos these days.
Neo traditional pieces are generally in color, but there’s something so attractive about them in black and grey. You get the best of both worlds, with the classic line work of neo traditional with the dark and light shading of black and grey. There’s a mix of the two here for you to enjoy. Have a look and let us know what you think.
